Stray Pups Youth Theatre fulfills SDT’s mission by creating a community of confident, engaged, and enthusiastic students. The program will allow these students to channel their creativity into rewarding performances that build skills students will draw upon for life, in new ways and opportunities not usually given to them. The programs combine SDT’s two main focuses: artistic expression and outreach.

With three distinct sessions, Stray Pups offers opportunities for students of all ages and talent levels.

CHARLOTTTE'S WEB

In this 4-week summer camp, young performers (ages 5-15) will learn, rehearse, and perform a one-act musical. The program will conclude with 3 performances of a musical production. This summer’s show will be Charlotte’s Web, a loving story that tributes, courage, compassion, and the ever-changing cycle of life.

Charlotte’s Web is based on E.B. White’s loving story of the friendship between a pig named Wilbur and a little gray spider named Charlotte. Follow Wilbur, Charlotte and all the loveable barnyard friends in the emotional tribute to friendship with universal themes depicting courage, compassion, and the ever-changing cycle of life.
