January 2023 marks the 20th anniversary of Stray Dog Theatre’s founding and not only am I proud of how far we’ve come, but I am so excited to see where we are going. After staging more than 100 productions, we are continuously amazed by the amount of talent we have in our community, and we are always excited to share it with our audiences. We would like to thank all of you for the incredible support you have shown us. Your support allows us to continue to provide an artistic home for adventurous performances, significant works of literature, plays, musicals, opportunities for creative growth, and enrichment for our youth and community programs. One of the longest running comedies in Off Broadway history, Vampire Lesbians of Sodom tells the saga of two fatally seductive vampiresses. Their immortal paths collide throughout history, from ancient Sodom to 1920s Hollywood, and end up in current day Las Vegas. Their bitter rivalry as actresses endures for more than two thousand years! Showbiz has never been so blood thirsty.

Sister Mary Ignatius has happily been teaching children about the glories of Catholicism and the perils of sin and hellfire for years at her church. What’s a good shepherd to do when it is revealed that members of her flock have strayed far from the path of righteousness? The results are surprising, yet absolutely hilarious. Sister Mary examines the sharp truths about human nature and religion.
