DOGFIGHT
On the eve of their deployment in 1963, three young Marines set out for one final night of debauchery, partying, and a little trouble. A “dogfight” ensues: who can find the ugliest girl and bring her to the party? A lesson in the power of love and compassion.

DEVIL BOYS FROM BEYOND
Men are from Mars, women are from Venus, all the rest are from Pluto. This high camp parody blends ‘50’s B-movies with your favorite trashy romance novel plus a dash of “Adult Swim” cartoon. Fold in a heaping portion of His Girl Friday and stir gently – but keep it lumpy.

I’LL BE BACK BEFORE MIDNIGHT
After a nervous breakdown, Jan retires with her husband to an old farmhouse to recover. When the farmer who owns the house tells them stories about a terrible murder and a night-stalking ghost, eery things happen. A compelling mystery that falls somewhere between an Agatha Christie whodunnit and a Hitchcock thriller.

HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH*
The odyssey of “internationally ignored” songstress Hedwig Schmidt, an East German rock goddess who also happens to be the victim of a botched sex-change operation. Touring the U.S. with her band, Hedwig shares her life story. Speaks to anyone who has felt life gave them an inch when they deserved a mile.

FIVE WOMEN WEARING THE SAME DRESS
During an ostentatious wedding reception at a southern estate, five reluctant, identically clad bridesmaids hide out in an upstairs bedroom. As the afternoon wears on, they discover a common bond. A wickedly funny, irreverent and touching celebration of the women’s spirit.

BAT BOY: THE MUSICAL
Ripped from a World Weekly News tabloid headline, this musical comedy/horror spoof is a big-hearted satire on prejudice. In a tiny West Virginia town, a strange deformed boy is found all alone in a cave. Once the “bat boy” emerges, dark – and hilarious – secrets shake the town to its core.

Stray Dog Theatre strives to keep its quality stage productions affordable and educational programs sustainable. Every tax deductible contribution is dedicated to “unleashing the art” in our great city. Your support is truly appreciated!

Sincerely,
